Animefan 101 now has 101 deviations on this site. I can't believe it. What's really crazy is that I don't even post half the stuff I make. I just want to thank all my friends, for well... being my friends. Without you I wouldn't have a reason to be here.

Well, I didn't pass my my Jr. Portfolio review. You can find a picture of all the pieces in my scrapes. I doesn't sound like I failed because of a lack of ability, which is a small conselation. Still, it doesn't seem fair to not pass just because I'm new to the school.

So anyway, thanks to all the people who thought my stuff was good.

Still don't know if I passed my review. I wish they'd let you know after the critique is over but apperantly they meet privately and discuss all the pieces further. Most of my peers think I passed, so that's encouraging.

At my school art mayjors have to do a portfolio review their junor year, so I've been keeping busy trying to get ready for that. The critique for our portfolios is this friday so I'm really axious to find out what people think of my work. The problem with being a being a digital art major is that teachers don't get to my stuff sitting in the studio or while I'm working on it. So I really have no idea how they'll take me as an artist. Most of the art program is geared toword traditional art and few of the teachers even know what a webcomic is (boy that is a rant for another time). So being that I am the only person I know of on campus that works in vectors I think I have a right to be nervous.

*crosses fingers* here's to hoping they'll love my work.

After a two year hiatus it looks like I'm back on DA. There is really no good reason for me to dissapear like that, so I want to start out by thanking all the people who kept checking up on me while I wasn't around. You guys are great! To those that forgot me, Hi my name is Melissa ^_^ Nice to meet you.

To sum up the past to years I;

-Finished my internship at Disney World
-Moved back to Nevada
-Decided going to school for art wouldn't be a bad idea
-Turned 21 (and yes, was smashed that night)
-Lost 20 lbs = three pant sizes
-Moved to lovely Lake Tahoe, in order to go to school here at SNC
